A broadcaster, creator, and believer in going after more — even when the path gets messy
Meet Julie
Known for her bold energy and honest storytelling, Julie inspires women to live authentically and write their own story.

Built from ambition, resilience, and a few plot twists.
Julie grew up on the ice as a competitive figure skater, and the most important thing skating taught her wasn’t how to land a jump. It was how to get back up. One fall doesn’t define you. Ten falls don’t define you. What you do with them does.
That lesson has followed her through every chapter of a career that has spanned seven cities, multiple networks, and more reinventions than she can count. She’s been fired, laid off, underestimated, and pushed out — and each time, she got back up and moved closer to the version of herself she actually wanted to be.
Not the network version, and not the version society had mapped out for her. Hers.
The most defining test of that conviction came when she publicly came forward as a sexual assault survivor in an industry not known for protecting the women who speak up. She held her truth through every moment of pressure, helped create real and quantifiable change, and then walked back into the work she loves — because that’s who she is.
Julie’s advocacy for women isn’t abstract. It’s earned. It comes from knowing exactly what it costs to use your voice, and choosing to use it anyway.
That’s what she brings to every stage, every conversation, and every woman she reaches: living proof that your voice is your power, and that no industry, no setback, and no amount of pressure can take that from you.

Julie wants every woman who lands on her page to feel seen. She’s faced the struggles, navigated the plot twists, and kept going —
creating a life that’s unapologetically her own.

Career Highlights
From the sidelines to the stage.
Julie’s broadcasting career has taken her from Hockey Night in Canada logging room to Fox Sports 1, ESPN, CBS Sports HQ, and CBC’s Olympic coverage of both the 2024 Paris Games and the 2026 Milano Cortina Games. She’s anchored, reported, hosted, and held her own in every room she’s walked into — covering everything from the NHL and MLS to the Women’s World Cup and college football.
Along the way, she was the host and executive producer of Drinks with Binks, a two-time Telly Award-winning personality-driven show that was ahead of its time, blending real conversation with sports long before that became the norm in media. She’s co-hosted The Energy Line with Nate and JSB podcast for the NHL, co-hosted Stanley Cup Live, reported for the PWHL, and served as rinkside reporter for the Anaheim Ducks, NHL on TNT, and most recently, the Tampa Bay Lightning on Scripps Sports.
Beyond broadcasting, Julie is a global mentor for the Sport Integrity Global Alliance (SIGA), a speaker on women’s empowerment and resilience, and a voice for anyone who has ever been told to take up less space.

What Julie Stands For
Authenticity. Resilience. Ambition without apology.
The belief that fun is not a distraction — it’s a necessity. Community over competition. Self-trust over perfection. And the unwavering conviction that women are allowed to want more, define success on their own terms, support each other along the way, and stop taking life quite so seriously.
